T.M. Rinker DO
Tedde Marie Rinker, DO was educated in the Midwest and attended medical school at Michigan State University, graduating from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at MSU in 1978. Dr. Rinker moved to California in 1981 and completed a postgraduate fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in 1983. Even though she pursued psychiatric training, her primary interest has always been the mind-brain and mind-body connections, and how to achieve healing of the whole person.
She cofounded The Center for Stress Medicine in San Jose, California which specialized in evaluating and treating people with stress related medical illnesses and a wide spectrum of psychiatric medical conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, etc. She was board certified in anti-aging medicine in 2000 and has served as an Examiner for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. In 2001, she was included in a survey of the top 500 physicians in the San Francisco bay area (Castle Connolly’s Physician’s Guide to America’s Top Doctors, 2001). In 2002, she wrote Anti-Aging Medical Practice for Primary Care Physicians. This is now offered as an e-learning course for physicians and healthcare practitioners and interested individuals through her website.
